Since I participated in my first retreat 3 years ago, I have become a much calmer and composed person, and my relationships with others have improved immensely. I worry less about the future and am happier in the present moment regardless of external circumstances. This retreat will be a great benefit to those who are willing to look inside themselves and make internal transformations."

-- Naomi Jonas. Toronto, Ontario.

"I have completed three 10-day retreats in the past two years and although they were challenging, they were also the most rewarding things I could have ever done, and continue to ever do, for my mind and soul. I was not aware how this practice was influencing me at the time but the positive changes in my life - the increased concentration, patience, as well as compassion and equanimity – have proved a direct result from the Vipassana meditation I learned with Thanat. This is truly a retreat, and these are teachers, you should not miss!"

-- Dawn Mauricio. Montreal, Quebec.

"I went to last year's retreat when I was 5-month pregnant. It was a bold decision but it turned out to be such a blessing. I went with a big belly and a monkey mind, but came back with a big heart and peace of mind. I would recommend it to anyone!"

-- Ping Xiao. Toronto, Ontario.

"The 2-week retreat at Margarite Centre in 2007 was a powerful experience for me. It was tough because it created an environment where there is no escape from the monkey mind. This retreat is boot camp for the mind... You sit with your mind and watch it do its antics, and you cannot escape to the fridge or the phone. I definitely recommend this type of exercise to anyone who wants to understand their mind better."

-- Philippe Leduc. Ottawa, Ontario.

"The retreat was a much needed time out that lasts a lifetime! The things you learn from the meditation retreat equipped me with some important tools in surviving stressors at work, at home and just overall in my everyday. While I have by no means perfected the application of these tools, I'm equipped with the knowledge and experience-based practice to know what it takes. What I learned is also something I can carry with me wherever I or my work takes me. It was challenging but it was also an unforgettable and an enriching experience. Hope to attend another meditation with you guys someday! Thank you!"

-- Margrieta Langins.
